I’m a mom of two little ones who are growing way too fast—a boy and a girl. I used to be an elementary art teacher, and I absolutely loved it, especially working with those sweet kindergarteners. I’m all about being silly and making people laugh. And, fair warning—I’m pretty sensitive, so if you cry, there’s a good chance I’ll be right there with you!
I studied Fine Art and Art Education at Michigan State (Go Green!), but somehow ended up marrying a UofM grad (Go Blue!). When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me in my garden, chasing after my kids, painting, working out, or getting competitive on the pickleball court. I also love sitting down to chat with friends, attending Bible study, or connecting with my church community.
Making things is my jam—whether it’s painting, knitting, or baking up some fresh treats. I’ve always wanted a job where I could create every day, and with photography, I’m doing just that. My next pastime goal? To someday have my own chickens—and maybe even a baby goat!
Nice to meet you.
